Sensations from within the body – whether it be the tongue exploring around the spaces of the mouth or the feeling of the ground pushing up against the soles of our feet – are both subjective and capable of enormous variation. I wanted to acknowledge that the internal dimension of the body was absolutely distinct from the world of mean and measure that articulates appearances.
