Antony Gormley will configure the South Galleries at White Cube Bermondsey into 15 discrete chambers to create a labyrinth containing some 24 works of differing size and material and ‘make a show that allows forms and materials to work on us, releasing us from any expectations of what sculpture is and how it might act on us.’

, a 12-metre long tunnel offering a journey into darkness and the unknown; 

, a brooding, abstract body comprised of 22 concrete blocks; and at the core of the exhibition, an installation spread over 100 square metres titled 

. Viewed from four thresholds, this work suggests a condensed urban landscape of high and low-rise buildings, but upon closer inspection the forms resolve into hundreds of individual cast iron bodies at rest. In another chamber, a singular, continuous cast iron line indicates the space of one room in snaking, 90 degree turns.
