For BAB 2022, Antony Gormley created site-specific sculptures at the courtyard of Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimonmangkhlaram (Wat Pho, Temple of the Reclining Buddha). Gormley considers his works to be instruments for mindfulness, reflecting his deep interest in Buddhism and Jainism. At Wat Pho, two of the artist’s sculptures stood in their own temple precincts.
