Inside, Royal Festival Hall
Antony Gormley curates Inside - an exhibition of artwork produced in the UK’s prisons, secure hospitals, immigration removal centres, and by ex-offenders in the community. This year’s show responds to the theme ‘Inside,’ set by Gormley with input from prisoners, and is selected from over 8,000 pieces of fine art, design, writing and music entered to this year’s Koestler Awards.
Antony will discuss the exhibition with Jacqueline Rose, Professor of Humanities at the Birkbeck Institute on 11 October, 6pm Royal Festival Hall.
