All works consist of a single line, which draws a trajectory in three dimensions through an individual body void. The line refers to energy systems that link us to our environment, and by passing along and through surrounding walls, floors and ceilings, suggests that human space is always connected to a wider matrix.
The works are dependent on the surfaces that support them, whether lying on the floor, leaning against a wall or hovering between wall and ceiling.
Each pose is considered in isolation. The trajectory of the line is dictated by the body's position and its points of contact with surface and plane.
The LINERS attempt to energise and make reflexive the geometries of our urban habitat.
